Our Approach to Responsible AI

Artificial intelligence can create significant value for organisations, but responsible AI is about more than what a system can do. How AI is designed, developed, deployed and used—and how its associated risks are managed—matters just as much.

At Clazzy Sdn Bhd, we are committed to developing and delivering AI solutions in a responsible, accountable and human-centred manner.

As part of our AI Management System (AIMS), aligned with ISO/IEC 42001:2023, we have established an AI Governance Policy to provide a structured approach to governing AI across our organisation and throughout the AI lifecycle.

Our AI Governance Principles

Our approach is guided by four core principles:

Ethical

We consider the potential impact of AI on individuals, organisations and other stakeholders. AI-related decisions are expected to take into account ethical considerations, potential risks and the consequences of how AI systems are designed and used.

Transparent

We promote appropriate transparency and accountability in the development and use of AI. Where relevant, we seek to ensure that stakeholders understand the purpose, capabilities, limitations and appropriate use of AI systems.

Secure

We protect the data, systems and information associated with AI throughout its lifecycle. Security, privacy and responsible information handling are considered as part of our AI governance and risk management practices.

Inclusive

We recognise that AI can affect people differently. We aim to consider diverse users, needs and potential impacts when designing, developing and deploying AI solutions, while taking reasonable measures to address risks related to fairness and accessibility.

Turning Principles Into Practice

Our AI Governance Policy provides a framework for ensuring that our AI-related activities:

• Support Clazzy's organisational purpose, strategy and business objectives;
• Are governed and conducted in an ethical, transparent, secure and inclusive manner;
• Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, contractual and organisational requirements;
• Identify and address relevant AI risks throughout the AI lifecycle;
• Consider areas such as data protection, fairness, safety, security and human oversight; and
• Are monitored and continually improved through appropriate review, internal audit, stakeholder feedback, lessons learned and emerging good practices.

Responsible AI is not a one-time exercise.

AI technologies, regulatory requirements, risks and societal expectations continue to evolve. Our governance approach therefore follows the same principle of continual improvement—regularly reviewing how AI is developed and used and strengthening our controls where necessary.

For Clazzy, AI governance is not simply about compliance. It is about creating AI systems that are developed and used responsibly, with appropriate oversight, accountability and consideration for the people and organisations they affect.
